Mr. Thomason is a Vice President with Volkert and Associates, Inc. He is currently serving as Senior Project Engineer for the FDOT construction work in the Pensacola area. Mr. Thomason is a native of Fayette County in Northwest Alabama and has lived in Daphne, Alabama for over twenty years. He and his wife Karen have three sons ranging in age from 14 to 22. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1974 and is a registered professional engineer in four states. He is a member of ASCE and is a Past President of the Alabama Section of ITE. He retired in 1997 after 25 years with ALDOT and began working for Volkert Construction Service shortly after retirement.
